Where are you guys getting seat heaters from? I was thinking of something like that but I haven't really seen it anywhere for a plane. I thought adapt a car system, but if someone make them, it would be easier.

Thanks for the info. That makes sense to not get confused with the imitators. I can add that to my book.

Curiosity got me. I checked out Lyco's website for Y-anything, nothing. Even on their list of engines, no 'Y's I have my A&P 'cheat-sheets' (information I gather on a constant basis) I have no listing for Y Lycos on my chart (which is a Lycoming publication from 2006) Maybe someone from Van's knows,...

I personally have never seen a 'Y' lycoming. I have no idea what that could stand for. The rest of the designations all make sense.
If anyone else knows please elaborate.

It's great introducing someone to flying and having them enjoy it. It can be a double edged sword though. I have lost a few girlfriends by taking them flying. (More than I have gained) Even taking it easy and making a smooth flight thoughout and even greasing the landings. Some just don't like it. B...

What kind of motorcycles are you in to?
Personally I'm a Harley guy, 07 XL1200C and a '07 FXDWG. Would really want a shovelhead though.

I just seen it in AOPA newsletter. I played around with Infared in a Bell 209 (AH-1) that the Forest Service uses. Its nice for what its used for, (hot spot detection) but for GA, its still too expensive.
My $.02 from someone who has played with it (not used for flight though)

I didn't see that coming. I thought I as up on AFS. And a joystick and chars to boot. It looks cool though. Since I'm nowhere close to getting panel equipment, there may be a 7500 by the time I get ready.

I think Motorcycles and RVs go together. Welcome aboard. You may want to check out Ohio Valley RVators, they can be found on Yahoo Groups. They may reach down that far and are an excellent bunch of people.

I'll probably do a Zaon traffic unit once I get flying.. It's something I can wait on for now. Yea me too, It's not my main concern. But Flying the KingAirs with the Ryan TCAD and the Garmin 530 and 430 and Avidyne EX500, etc. etc. It makes me wish I had the money and panel space (-8A) too have thi...

yea it would still show the three closest tagets. Plus I'm not sure how many the Garmin GTX-330 would show but the cost between the two, three is enough. There is also Ryan TCAD, not sure on the price though.

We got their aviation stuff right in the store (redding CA) Well, half of it. The other they got from another SW store a little farther south. Had it the next day. They said they can order and mix any aviation family paint within a week.

Wow, That was easy. Thanks.
It is a really nice feature, even in the planning stages to be able to print like this. I can only imagine how nice this is when you're cutting the panel.
Thanks again for the help.
