Rod, Another option is to buy a plane with another pilot to reduce the cost. This is what I did while building. I was able to purchase a nice RV4 with wicked stick. This allowed me to fly while building, gain some RV time and learn some tips from an experienced pilot. In the end when it was time to ...

I've been lurking for a while and working on my RV7a for even longer. I started building in April of 2002 when I had more time than money. Chamfer

Good to see your working on the canopy John.
I just chamfered the front edges as well, it gets easier to install as time goes on.
