Re: 5 pepper breakfast burrito
For my one meal today, I wanted some bacon. This is the second time I've used the BBQ for it. It bakes more than fries, requires less turning, and creates less mess in the house on a summer day. I like it. OMAD (one-meal-a-day) can solve a lot of physical problems. Eat whatever you want but only one...

Seems that the village idiot from Red Oak Texas (Dallas area) is flailing around on the forum again.

Re: Zizzo Liberte - folding bike
Lanesboro MN, Root River Rafting - South Branch and biking.... It was a great four-day trip. When you can combine flying, rafting and biking on one compact trip it becomes very good. Lanesboro is a top biking destination, and the river is good for rafting beginners and offers some short Class II rap...

Re: Zizzo Liberte - folding bike
rushing around this evening getting the bike and camping gear ready. I decided to install a new chain because the current chain was at 75% stretch. the 3D print pannier restrainers are holding up well. the raft total traveling weight = 7 lbs. locking my tie down rope knots with zip ties. this has wo...

folding cup holder, 3M Dual Lock load test. the 3M Dual Lock I use failed at 15 lb load. that is with the rope and weight load placed at the outer lip. multiply that by 1.6 to determine the equivalent load at the center of the coffee cup hole and that equals 24 lb. a relatively large cup of coffee w...

Re: a couple printed widgets
Tit check. Forward spar cover cup holder... positioned between the legs. I will take a quarter inch off the overall length of future versions but these are fine. I will permanently install these pieces in the aircraft with 3M Dual Lock. https://i.postimg.cc/3N4Qbw4S/IMG20250704101042.jpg https://i.p...

Re: a couple printed widgets
a foldable cup holder in all black color, to be located at the forward spar cover between the legs. it has a smooth trigger motion and is very nice. I'll load these in the aircraft tomorrow for a test fit. It would be nice for me to have a total of 4 cup holders at times. I printed some more 30-degr...

Re: Zizzo Liberte - folding bike
I am getting too much motion on these elk horns at the mount. I used silicon tape as a temporary install at the handlebar mount, but you know how that goes. I kept riding and now they are moving when I pull on them hard. I'll replace those with a proper alum shim. You really want those to be secured...

Re: a couple printed widgets
Forward spar cover cup holder... positioned between the legs. Custom cup hole sizes to be available. I printed this yesterday while I was out on a bike ride and assembled it this morning. I like it. It is very smooth and precise. It's ready for a load test, perhaps 20 lbs. Made to last the life of t...

RV6A - ASN Report - C-FYFD well, the surface may have been soft with some puddles and hidden holes. the nose wheel eventually gave up. a weird photo.... https://asn.flightsafety.org/wikibase/524022 The aircraft was taking off from an area outside the airport when it hit a puddle and hole in the surf...

Re: Zizzo Liberte - folding bike
50 miles today on the bike. Eye protection is clean and hanging in the plane. Air the bike tires in the plane. A strap around the tires pulls the tires together against the spring magnet another half inch and keeps the tires oriented for filling in the plane. The fish and chips and homeade cake were...

Re: a couple printed widgets
Forward spar cover cup holder... positioned between the legs. Getting closer to hitting the print button on this one. I've thoroughly enjoyed working on this design project, though I'm unsure how well it will perform. It's designed to be robust and fully serviceable, attaching with either 3M Dual Lo...

DeltaHawk Engines
We might need a new category for this engine. 2026 could be the year DeltaHawk breaks into the mainstream. It looks like they're targeting the C172 and 182 market. An engine with fewer parts, minimal accessories, and that runs on JetA is definitely a step in the right direction. DeltaHawk - 2025 SUN...

Re: a couple printed widgets
first time to print a Comant antenna fairing is black color. they have always previously been white. it's always nice to do something new even though it is just a color change. 3D printing is boring unless you are making something new. https://i.postimg.cc/gkKnXQ7y/IMG20250630132855.jpg https://i.po...
