Raven Inverted Oil
Hi all
Does anyone have any experience with the Raven inverted oil system? Is it a good quality kit? Easy to install?
I have an RV8 with IO360-C1C6. Hoping it won't be too traumatic an install!
Any experiences/horror stories gratefully received!
Cheers

RV8 Canopy Draft
Morning all
My RV8 has finally taken to the skies and we have a horrendous draft coming from the rear of the canopy! The British winter is imminent and I don't want to get wet or frozen to death!
Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you fix it?
Many thanks for any suggestions!

Re: IO360 Sump
Sorry to resurrect this thread....but..... I decided to work around my sump issue and carried on with the build. I'm now back with this issue having not found a replacement 2nd hand sump! Has anyone machined a sump to change from rearward to forward facing induction? If so, do you have any details/p...

Hi all I want to mount my iPad Air in the back of my '8 by attaching it to the roll-bar. Has anyone done this already? If so how did you do it? I want to be able to remove the iPad and the mount be nice & rigid so it doesn't move about. Any suggestions of what to use is appreciated. Pictures of your...

Polishing rather than painting
Hi all My '8 creeps ever closer to completion. My co builder was messing around the other night and started to polish the outboard section of a wing. Boy did it come up nice! Tempted to polish the whole thing now to save a fortune on painting. Would it need some sort of treatment or can you just reg...
RV8 Range
Hi all My '8 is creeping ever closer to completion in the UK and shortly after that I'm hoping to fly it to the Middle East as I'm working here for a few years. I have an IO-360 200hp motor and it will be a Hartzell prop as supplied by Vans. My question is, what sort of range are you guys getting wi...

Well unfortunately Sunstate Aviation are a no-go; Unfortunately, we have made the decision a few months back to discontinue aircraft rental for non-instructional purposes as that part of our operation was beginning to have a negative impact on our flight training operations The search continues........

Hi all, after some help please! My family & I are visiting Florida in July and I want to rent something to fly down to the Florida Keys. Yup, Doha sucks on the ground alright, with a capital 'S'!! NDIA, or Hamad International as its now known, has been cursed with delays from the outset by poor management & generally being run by idiots. Already thee are too few stands for the rapidly expanding fleet & it hasn't opened!! The grand op...
