I posted a reply in here earlier today, but it disappeared. What's up with that?

I was just curious if any of you decided to drill the optional lightening holes in the -9 VS rear spar? I am at a crossroads trying to decide. I figure it will only save maybe 3-4 ounces, but what do you think?

I just bought a band saw, after hacking up my two brackets I had to build for my HS on the -9. I made one real nice, and the other one looked like crap. I ordered a new stick of aluminum angle from Vans, and headed to Home Depot. For $99, I bought an AWESOME Ryobi band saw. It even has a light on it...

I got so paranoid building mine last weekend (these same parts) that I : 1) Ordered another stick of angle to rebuild them JUST like I wanted them, and 2) Went and bought a new band saw to make life easier the next time around. A new 12" stick of that alloy angle was only $5 from Van's, plus shippin...
