T-410

I was working on my tank this weekend and realized that my t-410 reinforcement plates are drilled with varying clearances to the edge of the rib. Since these are reinforcing plates my question is how snug do they need to be to end of the tip of the rib and skin? Do I order new ones and remake them o...

13/16 inch hole for conduit

I went with the 13/16" hole for the conduit. Alittle easier to pull the conduit through and I prosealed it to the ribs. I talked with the RV builders in my EAA chapter and they were split about 50/50 on 3/4 vs 13/16 holes for the conduit, so my guess is that either size will work. Jerry B RV-7 Still...

Stupid question, What size should the hole for the conduit be? :? 3/4" seems awfully small. The conduit is very tight in 3/4" hole.

Drilled conduit hole on wrong side of rib

I started to drill the holes for the conduit before I realized it I drilled .75" holes into 2 ribs on the wrong side of the rib. :bang: They are in the top of the rib instead of the bottom as shown in the recommended location drawing. I have drilled all the other ribs correctly except these 2 ribs h...

Thanks for the help. I am ordering lots of clecos #40's (I guess about 300 to 400 - I plan to build both wings at the same time) I figure that is what I need to order first. Do I need more #30's, I have about 100? :?

I just received my wing kit and this discussion has raised a question I had not considered. What additional items do I need to order for the wings to install as I build. I plan on installing an auto pilot. When do I purchase it? What other items or supplies should I have on hand that are not supplie...

I agree with what everyone is saying. A friend of mine told me about this site and I must admit it is more friendly than the other builder sites. This is a comfortable place to visit.

Things like auto pilot servos, wiring for lighting, lighting system components, etc. ????? Any items not included in the kit that...
