I got another flight in yesterday. Slow flight, stalls, and of course trips around the pattern. I did have to do one go around when the pilot before me landed a bit long on 33 and needed to back taxi. It was pretty busy in the pattern. It was fun keeping track of all of the comings an goings. It rea...

Soloed. . . Again! A Pilot's Journey

This afternoon I soloed for the first time. . . again :) A few weeks back I broke a year plus hiatus from my training. last week I got my solo endorsement back.:deal: Today I flew my first solo hour in almost 1.5 years. Too sweet. The skies were threatening, it was 100 in the cockpit, and haze kept ...

I think the original provider of the request made by the second requester of the original request is asking for the provider of the number to provide the name of the provider who provided the number to the respondent who provided the number.

Just to echo other's comments. If the RV meets your mission best, then it is the best plane. Obviously it's not the end all be all for everyone. That's the beauty of it. We get to decide what is best for our particular wants and needs. as for parts, all you need is snips and a hammer to make most of...

something like two weeks ago.

When I first posted this thread I had already sent in the reservation, but had gone online to check if the number had been reserved in my name yet.

I've probably got some 5+ years (more like 10+ at the rate I'm going) to get used to the number before I actually "need" it. For whatever reason. I wanted one, and decided that it was worth paying up for the reservation. My wife thought I was nuts a few weeks ago as I sat in my easy chair chanting d...

The funny part is the number I got was my first (and only) submission.

I guess I just got lucky.

I thought about trying for something that had 949(949 is the serial number of my bearhawk) in it, but didn't want to be saying niner all the time.

Very nice. The rate of progress isn't all that important. The important part is enjoying the ride.
That being said, it looks like you've had a busy year!
