Believe it or not in the State of MN if you are in your driveway, in your car and the car is running you can be charged. ...even if it's still in park! I was a cop in a Suburb of St. Paul, MN many years ago and this was the case. We never took it to that extreme but legally we could have. ...not sur...

Bob - You've starting me thinking about how I got in to RV building in the first place and why I'm here today. In truth, it was after one of my lessons with Doug Weiler (took me through my instrument rating) where I admired his then newly painted RV-4 and began asking questions. The funny thing was ...

Ian can't say you will love every minute of it becuase there is not a lot to look at and some of the days will certainly remind you why the instrument rating is so tought to get but in the end you will ALWAYS be glad to did it!

It will bring your flying to new levels...literally!

I appreciate that John!

Everyone is getting through it well and supporting those that were affected. If there is a silver lining it has really pulled our city together!

He guys it's been a tough week here in Minneapolis as we lost one family from work on the bridge. They were all in the car together. It's a route many of us take every day and it still just doesn't seem real. The entire area looks like a movie set. Thanks for checking in! All the RVer's from the MN ...

I get it in rough air in the RV-6 too. I usually have to remind my self that I'm flying a 1500 pound high performance airplane not a 2250 pound Piper Aero. (that I used to fly)

If I'm really honest I would bet that 80% of my flying in the RV-7 will be pancakes with the other RVer's on Saturday! However, I WANT TO GET TO THE PANCAKES FIRST so I'm planning to be as light as possible with the IO-390 upfront. We'll have a basic IFR panel primarily so we can file to get up on t...
