True story.. I ordered my tail kit from Van's the afternoon of March 5th 2009. Later that evening at dinner as I was rambling on about my new order, my wife looked at me and said "Matt, I'm pregnant... and yes you can still build your plane." So I present Avery (No I didn't name him after my tool ki...

Sadly I have had some of the same issues... I think most of the problems come from one mod in particular. For some reason he kept deleting my new Son's birth announcement. Even though it was posted in the section where this was specifically allowed.. Oh well.. My third (and final) son Avery was born...

Hey Chad nice prop.... I'm wondering, is there any issues with doing acro with the Cattco?

As I am trying to figure out my "must haves" vs "nice to have" The prop is one area I keep coming back to. I love the look of the Cattco three blades, and I really like the prive vs a CS.

Looked more like you were kissing it. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Some guys really like their headsets. :luv: Yeah they are nasty. I'm too lazy to lug my own around with me for 4 days. I wipe the whole thing down with alcohol pads each time I get a new plane, but i'm sure I still get...

Welcome Matt, you are really going to enjoy this process if you are like most people that start. Keeping at it for the long haul is the challenge. What Bruce said is so right. I too way under dimpled my HS, but after figuring out how to work the DRDT-2, I did drill out every rivet, do the dimpling ...

Thanks guys for the welcome!! Chad, I found your site along with Mike B's a while go. Both sites helped me finally take the plunge! I also used them as a good way to show my wife just what I was getting in to. Bruce, Thanks for the great advice! I'm glad you gave it when you did, since I am just abo...
