Float Senders w/Flop Tubes

I've looked at quite a few builder websites with no luck yet. I'm using float senders with the flop tubes. My concern is mounting the senders in the second bay baffle - have others used a reenforcement plate of some type - any issues with just mounting the sender directly on the baffle?

Rudder Pitfalls

The VS and HS are done and redone correctly. Any gotchas or pitfalls to avoid with the rudder?

New skins ordered and a couple of suspect ribs. I'll be rebuilding it after the VS.

HS rebuild is done and looks great - swivel set works very well as does running the gun at 35 psi!

I'm on the road for work - no other photos. The dents are bothering me enough that I'm inclimed to order a new skin/ribs and tear it apart. Well I got through to Vans and the suggestion was I can fill the dents - don't worry about it. I'll have another look when I get home.

Looks worse than it is. Best quess is an 1/8 inch indentation. Superfill is it?

Thanks Chad. I wont win any awards for having the best looking HS but I'm fairly sure it will hold together. I assume a "bondo" type filler used to fill the dents at paint. I need to find someone in my area to come have a look to make sure I'm doing things basically right.

skin dents/smilies

First post. I spent all day finishing my HS. Some of my first rivets - skin to HS708 ended up with dents in the skin and some smilies. I drilled out about 8 rivets on one of the HS708 to try and fix some of the dents. I ended up using some oversize rivets. Structurally, it turned out fine but can so...
