Hasn't the -12 had the stall warning as a standard feature from the beginning? Am I naive to think that Vans decided to include the same device as a standard feature since they already had it in their inventory and to "add value" to their kits?

Hey Chad, the airflow doesn't necessarily have to flow straight away from your back. That 3D fabric could give you a nice air gap between you and the non-breathable "standard" material to help "keep your cool" :)

I agree about the ribs. I think they stick in my mind more than the fuel tanks. Not so much hard to do, just BORING. I'd hate to do all of them myself on a -10 :| Overall though, the wings are good fun! 8)

I've always wanted a V12.....

In SOMETHING! I don't think there's a better sounding engine configuration. So.....what about one in a -10? VW has what they call a W12- basically two narrow angle V6's on a common crank- 6 liters, 414hp in naturally aspirated trim. Could make an easy 300hp for a nice peppy -10, and sound ...

Bottom line is that life's too short to be responsible ALL the time. We're looking to be out of seats before the -7 is done also. Guess I'll just have to man up and back it up with a -10 :dunno:

I have a flight instructor friend that had his student retract the gear on his (school's) Seneca on rollout on Tuesday. Me: "what kind of engines do those have?" Him: "Hmm... IO-360's I think?" Me: "Angle valve or parallel valve?" Him: "Parallel I think." Me: "You know where I'm going with this...."...
