pop rivet question?

Hi Guys

Re: Duckworks Landing Lights

As a matter of interest, what are the 'soft' POP rivets that can be used for the mounting strips to the lens on these units, I'm going down this road as opposed to the double sided sticky tape

WICKED buzz job!

OK: What I meant to say is - over here we have a 500 foot rule which says: An Aircraft must not fly closer than 500 ft to any person, vessel, vehicle or strcture

Do you not have similar, or can you really fly down 'Main street' at 200ft

Duckworks landing light

Hi Guys I'm about to fit a pair of Duckworks landing lights in the wings of an RV9a, and I would appreciate any tips on drilling the plastic: holes sizes are from 3/32 upwards, and I know you should use the correct drills but they start at 1/8 (so it looks like a standard bit for the 3/32), the hole...

John, Yup!

If I were to toast my newly purchased radio, I would do it with a cheap power supply too!

No need to get all fancy about it!

I think we discussed this not so long ago - how about a simple CB power supply, (search e-bay: there are plenty around) they are even 13.8 volts

Piper blade-type pitot

Ian- The heated pitot is kind of a waste, especially if you aren't going to be doing IFR. The only way your pitot will get frozen is if you are flying through visible moisture when the air temp is below freezing. Not a condition that any rv should fly though anytime! I put a heated on mine because ...
