Re: Interior/seat choices

Looks like I am Goldilocks here with the Classic Aero Seats. http://www.classic.aero/web/images/1546-lrg.jpg I have flown on the stock Vans cushions in the RV 6, and did buy them for the 7. When it came time to fly the 7, I just pulled the trigger on the Classic Aero ones because it was simpler and ...

Re: Too quiet for the week before OSH

Bob, you are going to be at OSH but can't make it to those IMPORTANT venues!?! What is up with that? What is more important than the beer tasting and the Black Otter? Bruce, see you there! I will be at all of those events except the Banquet. I am bringing a pack of Baxter Stowaways with me from Main...

Re: Wiring Harness

I just made a four way splice under the seat pan for the nav lights.

However... Recently I helped a friend troubleshoot a short in that very circuit and because he ran them all back to the switch, he was able to disco the shorted tail and still use his navs.

Soooo, your call.

Re: Wiring Harness

Joe, I found a coil of 22awg tefzel on ebay that proved to be indispensable. I made small harnesses for my switches and fed all kinds of control circuits with it. As far as other stuff... Yes all white is fine with the proper labels. You Need to get a fair amount of 18 awg for limited power stuff un...

Russki, yes! Your toothbrush is still there! I also installed the reciever bracket under my wing as a failsafe option. Joe, you will enjoy taking the pups with you. They usually fly well. I am loaded and ready to go in the morning. I am going to hit the gym at 5am, come back to the airport, get into ...

So, it looks like this is going to happen on Tuesday, July 4,2017!

The arrivals will begin on Sunday and as many people who can fit into my house are welcome! Please bring a sleeping bag and a towel. I have everything else.

Wyatt deserves a grand sendoff!

See you all soon!

Bruce, I saw that on the other site!

Good catch on your part. I can't imaging how things could have turned out. I am sure that when you did your fuel flow test you would have discovered it, but it is much better to have found it now!

Keep up the great work. You will be flying soon!

Re: Tips on trimming the forward end of the cowl?

Dave, Now I know why you needed Bruce's number yesterday. Did he answer your question? Leveling it means to set it to the spinner height and parallel to the top skin of the fuse... I think? At least that is what it means to me. I suppose that because the cowling has a shape that already matches the ...

Lars, I like the way you think!

We are planning on Sunday afternoon around 4 PM in the Homebuilt Camping section under the tent. We did it last year and it was a huge success!

I will be there getting the ice ready early, so stop by and say hello!

Welcome to RB!

Re: Last ice landing of the year-Winter concert in Maine

Wade, I would love to pick you up but it is a bit out of the way and Desiree will be with me anyways. If Russki is inclined to do so, I have room at the house for you too on Saturday night. BTW ALL... Listen up! Speedpants is monitoring the Face Space page of Bald Mountain Camp and he spotted a chan...
