RV's are great airplanes. But there's not much out there for the kitfox/avid guys. Us Rans guys will hang out anywhere.

I had the same problem on the RV-4. I installed a Landoll harmonic balancer and that seemed to cure it.

I specifically asked if sport pilots can fly my plane, and the answer was an unqualified yes! I may own an RV again some day, but I won't build one. My wife has already informed me of that. I can always find another airplane, but I can't find another her.

N612SV received her Special Airworthiness Certificate!! I am no longer a builder, I am an owner! First flight will be in two to three weeks. Drained oil, and installed new oil filter p/n ch48110-1, and serviced engine with 8qts of aeroshell 15W-50 oil. Test ran aircraft with no leaks noted ops check good. All work performed I.A.W.(in accordance with) Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's) and is airworthy is regards to the work performed....

This plane took 2 years almost exactly to the day to build. The RV-4 took 5 years. I may have another RV again one day, but I'm going to let someone else build it.
