I just got through measuring and bending the longerons for my RV 7A, (slow build with a sliding canopy).
The template matches the drawing (triple checked) and the bends I placed in the longerons follow the template very closely (well within the recommended 1/16 inch); however, neither of the aft canopy decks follow the longerons or upon inspection the template. I checked against the drawing, the curved sides differ between the template and the aft canopy plates.
Which is correct? That is, shouldn't the template and the aft canopy plates follow the same curved edge?
