i did get to hear the thing run on friday, and i MUST say, i am VERY impressed with the NO NOISE level! 8) all i could hear was the prop blowing air. even at high power, still just air noise!

NEAT!

sensenich got together with quinti prop hubs to make this prop. they just provide the blades to mount in the hub. it is constant speed, but it is still electric. they are still testing it to see if it really is the best solution to the higher output H-6 and torque provided by the new redrive. it's pretty complex if you ask me, but it does look cool, and it functions well...at least in testing. i talked to tom moore (owner of the the -7A in the pic), and he has flown the new combo a total of two hours, including the trip over to SNF from Egg's HQ.
