Gretz Aero servo for elevator trim

Post by Dean »

Has anyone installed the Gretz Aero (Ray Allen) servo for the elevator trim. Is this better than installing it on the elevator and having to balance with lead. Thanks for your help. Dean

Dean,
I've just finished my servo installation in my elevator. What I like about it is that it is ROCK SOLID! Not even a smidge of slop anywhere. It is hard to beart that straight pushrod from servo to tab horn for the best push/pull. Yes, I will probably need a little lead, but that's not the end of the world. (better for solo aerobatics)

Thanks for the info. Thats the secret that I was looking for in making my decision (no slop if connected direct). Dean :)
