The scuttle on the net is that Honeywell will be releasing something big at Oshkosh. Did any of you guys that went to SNF hear anything? The rumors that Ive read say that its going to be fully integrated, as in everything. I wonder if they are going to go after the G1000. Its about time they did something lower end that high end business jets.

I care because Im interested in the industry and I think its neat to see things progress.
Im also not one of the last steam holdouts of the century, Im just not yet one who is willing to embrace experimental glass panel technology. Especially considering that I hope to do some IFR in my RV.
Glass done by companies that have been around for a fairly long time, and that has been certified, or based off of certificated versions, are a different ball game to me. The problem I see is the entry cost. If I were wealthy Id seriously be looking at the G900 as John points out.
