Very interesting. I have to say though, looking at that picture, I feel like it would definately take a while to get used to looking at it.

I've always felt that the airspeed ribbons are backwards. If you dive, you gain speed, so the higher airspeed numbers should be lower on the display. Just my $.02

No sh_ _ oooh ahhh. I didn't even realize those possibilities when I ordered my D-100 yesterday. Apparently in order to take full advantage of that display you need to have the Garmin SL30 for the radio. No problemo  I got one of them last year at Osh. The D-100 and the D-10A also can be hooked up with my lowly Garmin 295 which will be panel mounted. So I'll give it a big OOOOH HAAAAAAA! The panel design is coming along nicely. Thanks for the heads up you made my morning.

Cool!! You're not the only one that'll have a "lowly 295" panel mounted...me too! 8)

In regards to getting used to this type of display, I have a "lowly" D10 in my 6A. I have found that since I have now located where to look in the display for what flight info I need, it is now second nature. Its great to have all that information in one spot so your instrument "scan" is now just a glance at one instrument.
