Bicycles at Vinton County airport?

Post by A2022 »

working to stage a couple of bicycles at Vinton County airport. It is really beautiful around there and is about an hour away from Ciny, to the East. Rolling hills and State Park with much to see and do.

what if we could have bicycles staged at several airports around Ohio? Traverse City, MI has the right approach to bicycles, and I'm sold on the idea.

around Ross airport and Chillicothe, SE Ohio. calm day, OAT =19C at 2.5K, music = ON, dial the engine back and look around. a solar farm that I didn't know existed. Ohio is NOT the best place for solar.

still working to get some bicycles to Vinton County, so I thought I would bring them doughnuts. then I traveled on to Athens OH, Ohio University, to have some lunch. nice place! they like bricks over there. beautiful day. I was offered a job as a flight instructor. :)

A guy at Vinton came buy and ate a doughnut and showed all the mods he made to his eBike. a quiet guy, but when he began talking about his bike the stream began to flow.

I paid $350 for my iFly 740b (used) and my smart phone was free (sort of). the tablet (used) was $100 on eBay. they all beam to each other on the aircraft wifi network. my L3 transponder is the wifi hub and has and independent screen for traffic and weather. I could navigate home by my transponder if needed.

I heard the engines are running on the DC-3 at the home airport.

At Vinton I started reading "The Aviator" by the author that wrote "Fate is the Hunter". I like it so far, only 60 pages into it.
