New Year's RV fly in

Post by bruceh »

SoCal got some cold weather and snow this week, but it cleared out and was beautiful on New Year's day. A gathering of RV's flew out to Jean, Nevada for breakfast. We departed from Ramona and flew over some snowy backcountry on the way over the Palm Springs area, then across the high desert to Nevada. We had a big headwind, but managed to make it there on time. There were over a dozen RV's that flew in. On the way back we detoured over to Boulder City and the Hoover Dam, then took advantage of the nice tailwind on our way back home. Photos are here.

Happy New Year!
