Oshkosh 2022 - ending weekend

Post by A2022 »

I arrived later to Oshkosh than usual, but I liked it. the weather and good and the show crowds were busy. less folks at homebuilt camping but free beer and the welcome wagons were waiting hand and foot. some airplanes I liked in no particular order. such a variety in one place. if the weather is good, the ending weekend will be my time of choice to visit in the future. I stopped by Waukesha on my way home to have lunch with my brother and his wife and threw my gust locks on because there was a Citation getting ready to go. if it's a quick stop, sometimes I don't bother latching them.

the Army guy was offering a t-shirt for 20 pull-ups. a young buck stepped from the crowd and did 25 in a heartbeat, and they were good ones. I offered him 5 pull-ups and 20 push-ups. he thought about it and said come back at the end of the day. somehow, I never made it back.
