Well, it finally came and went. We had a great turnout for the seminar with 25 people signed up, and 23 that showed up. It's a GREAT seminar. Not as technical as some would have hoped, but very informative and it will make you put that thinking cap on. I have a much better idea of where to start with an electrical system for the -7. It's worth the $$, and the "living text" is a great resource to have down the road. Get the text even if you don't attend the seminar somewhere. It was held in our EAA 129 Chapter hanger. Here are a coupla pics...
If anyone here knows Robby "Hard Knox" Knox from Savannah, GA, he was here this weekend for the seminar. Here's a couple of pics of his BEAUTIFUL RV-8
Aeroelectric Seminar a success!!

Glad it went well Chad. I would have liked to have came over but we were in Alabama visiting our daughter. Then on the way home we came through Indianapolis and went to a MercyMe and Audio Adrenaline concert. I came through Normal today and tried giving you a call but missed you. Maybe next time!

Yep. He cruises at 205mph, 210 on a good day. It's CLEAN!! SJ cowl and wheel pants, Grove gear, and WW151 prop. He did make it very clear that he will not use the SJ cowl again. Too much work, and too hard a company to deal with. He has the angle valve, non counterweighted IO-360 with slick mags, built it himself, if I remember right. Nope, no electronic ignition. He has four cameras mounted in the airplane, twin GRT screens, and Classic Aero black and grey leather interior.
Nice.
