Resistor installation

Post by calake »

Being electrically challenged is making my project creep along. Current problem is the "how to" of putting a resistor in a line. I have three to install and don't know quite how to go about it.

There is a wire from the GRT EIS that is 4.8 volt excitation line. I install resistors between that wire and the wire that goes to fuel quantity, both left and right and also fuel pressure.

The resistors are small, so do I solder, crimp, or hire a professional? One end goes on the excitation wire and then two wires off the other end, one to EIS and other to device?

Pictures or vivid explanation would be fantastic.
