AA6-187X2X2 1/2 Leftover stock needed?

Post by Brantel »

I had my head on backwards and cut the F601-J's wrong so I thought "crap" but I saw that I had enough stock left over to make at least one more from the piece that came with the fuse kit and I had a piece left over from the tank attach brackets on the wing kit. So I was able to make two more.

The question is, is this left over stock to be used somewhere else? Need to know if I should order a replacement piece or not...

I'm out of town, so I can't look at my stuff right now, but I think you'll need some of that to make the brackets that go under the F705 bulkhead for the tip up canopy. There are two (one for each side), and are about three inches in length.

Possible, I will have to check the drawings for the area Chad mentioned above and see if I can. I did not screw them up bad, just bad enough....

I cut the angle scrap away from the short side too close to the center when I should have came off the center 3/4". Hard to explain but easy to screw up!

Looks like there are enough peices that need this stock that I will be placing an order for another piece. Too bad but ACS does not have that size so I must order it from Vans. ACS is closer and cheaper on shipping....

Not close, I should have said closer.

I am in East Tn and from ACS in GA, I usually get next day ground service.

Sorry for the confusion....

interesting that a couple people are building RV-4's but exactly NOONE is building a 3!

I'd kinda like to build a 3. Sort of. No, not really.

Maybe a rocket. :D
