Chad, really, you should just order new cables. '' I have the same strobe set, so I will really be screwed with the extra wing length in the -9A. If you end up ordering new cables, let me know. I'll need a couple 25 footers.

Back home. Got in a session on the RV today before jet lag time (Italy is 7 hours ahead).

Mine just like that is going under the baggage floor. I'm sure it will work were ever you put it. :)

Sheeze guys, is Chad building this airplane for you, or for him?

Besides - just wait a few days and he will change his mind anyway.

Okay. I compromised the location. I, in no way, felt like cutting holes in my baggage floors, so I knew that was out. I thought about the forward location a lot, and decided that if I found a different location, I could avoid cutting an additional hole in the spar carry thru webbing (even though approved by Van's). I found the right spot just behind the passenger seat. I'll make some sort of cover for it to keep dust out of it, and it won't be seen back there.

Did I satisfy anyone?

You're not going to put it THERE, are you??? That's just not going to work. I'll think of a reason later on....

Looks like it will be more out of sight and out of mind there. That is sort of a dead space back there, but I do use it to store my "The Claw" tiedown bag.

I guess I am satisfied.
