I was not going to watch this video sent by a car friend but did. It looks pretty interesting to seal and make solid a connection. You decide.

I found the web site. spliseal.com the molds are pretty expensive. I think it is an interesting idea and i like the screw fastening point but I think a mold would be reasonably easy to make. It may not be as perfect but could seal a connection very well. I may have to give it a try.

interesting idea, especially if you don't intend to ever take it apart and it operates in a wet environment.

Can you print up one of the molds? As for taking it apart, it would be easier to just cut it out and re do the crimps. Just make sure you have enough extra wire in your runs.

I'm stacked up now with orders... Christmas. what is the temperature of the glue?

Between 250 and 350 for high temp glue guns.
I think I will try and make one out of a piece of hardwood and small hinge.
