What Pitot tube did you get?

Post by captain_john »

I am lookin over the myriad of pitot tubes available and of the ones on the Spruce site, there are 2 which appeal.

The Homebuilders one and the Falcon.

To me they are, for all intents and purposes, the same aside from a few bucks. I am excluding Gretz, because of a couple of reasons.

I am using the SafeAir mast and am wondering how they get fastened to the mast.

Anyone???

Haven't made any decision on the pitot tube yet. I did buy the SafeAir kit and pitot mount which came today. I may end up using the Dynon pitot to start with. I'll be watching for input from others on this to see what the concensus is.

Keep us filled in on your research, makes it easier on us!
