torque values for wing attach bolts

Post by Build9a »

There are 8 large and 8 small NAS bolts (4 of each in each wing) for final wing attachment. For the life of me I can't find the torque values for these NAS bolts. Manual only mentions that putting oil on the treads will effect torque readings. Otherwise, nothing. I'm sure they are listed somewhere, I'm just not seeing them. thanks, Jack #90508 finishing up. :bang:

Jack, in my builder's manual, Chapter 5 (page 5-13) gives a table of torque values for AN bolts. Unless you can find a note on the applicable drawing sheet specifying otherwise for the particular bolts you're describing, those are the values to use. As a rule, callouts on the field of a drawing overules tabular values, since the former are specific for the structure addressed.
