Elevator alignment for bell crank drilling

Post by gsimatos »

I am ready to drill the elevator bell crank to push rod holes. I am trying to convince myself that I have the 2 elevators in the EXACT same position. If I clamp the counterbalence ends to the HS they seem pretty close but when I carefully measure there is still a 1/16 diference when I measure at the trailing edge of the elevators. Is this good enough??Any comments would be appreciated, Cheers G

pretty sure that's entirely cosmetic, and it shouldn't be too noticeable.
