ERF(?)

Post by Tom Harp »

That's the name I wrote to myself a couple years ago for a substance available from J C Whitney, that was supposed to be a miracle working substance for sealing fuel tanks from the outside. Does anybody know of this stuff, or maybe a better name? JC Whitney doesn't know of it anymore?
Thanks
Tom

Tom -
Never heard of it.
And, it's a long shot, but a quick Google of "ERF" & "Whitney" brought this up....

Does that sound familiar??

ERF

Thanks Loren
I don't think that's the stuff...what little else I remember about it was that it is apperently used to seal close tolerance shafts and or bearing races. I seem to remember also that some model helicopter folks used it for similar purposes to tighten uo all those whirling things. May be on the right track though...at least ERF came up...all the brain cells apparently not gone yet
Thanks again
Tom
