Common Adel clamp sizes

Post by jwyatt »

Looking ahead to engine/electrical goodies, what sizes of Adel clamps are commonly required? It looks like most people use a pile of them, but there doesn't seem to be a vendor who sells an "assortment kit" -- did you just order, say, 10 of each size in the Spruce catalog?

Also, it looks like I could get away with stocking just two types of the dozen or so variants -- aluminum with the black cushion for most uses, and steel with the white cushion for everything FWF. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Definitely go with the steel/white FWF...better choice and they look great too. As far as common sizes and how many of each...I think I used more 4, 6, 10, 12 than any others, but you will inevitably need an odd size here and there...

Excellent Chad, thanks! That gives me a place to start an order.
