Here is an alternate method to measure/set the wing incidence using a bar accross the main longerons and a square to measure the distance from the longeron to the top of the "guage" on the wing. I used a car jack and 2x4 to "dial in" the incidence and double checked it with a level per Van's specifications. I think the measurement method to maintain parallellism between the main longerons and the top of the guage is more accurate as my eyes ain't that good at discerning little movements of level bubbles....
