Thanks, for the welcome.

Rotary Phase Converters- Can run more than one machine if the converter is larger than the hp needed. I use one for my lathe.
I did have it wired to the VFD. But, I didnt want to rewire the whole machine to get the coolant pump,foot break and other little things that cant run on 3 phase. The lathe has it's own transformer to convert the 3 phase to 1 phase.

I did use the VFD to run the mill because it runs the motor, and only runs the motor.

If you have a cnc machine, use a RPC.

Stay away from static coverters. They are junk in my opinion and a waist of money.
A used rpc can be found. I have about 400.00 in my 7.5 hp phasemaster.
It was used in a wood shop in a barn. I have replaced one bearing and one capaciter. Found a rodents nest in the cap's box. The fella I bought it from said it was a 5hp. I wasnt prepaird to lift 270 lbs that day.
