Post by captain_john »

This is the best, most comprehensive toolkit I have seen for building an RV... EVER!

It ain't cheap, but it does have it all!

Looks pretty good. I think I have about all that stuff. I didn't buy it all at once though, I just placed an order twice a week for the first 3 months it seemed like. Probably would have been cheaper to have bought a complete kit like that than the one I did get by the time I added everything on.

The biggest advantage to the way I did it was there wasn't a charge for $2500 on the CC for tools. Instead there were about 50 of them for $60 each. Karla doesn't notice them as much that way.

I agree!

I just did the math on it. It looks like, forgetting all shipping costs it is a few hundred bucks too high. If you added all the shipping costs of all the orderes purchased seperately it would be pretty close to the same.

Spike, when are we gonna get that URL tool?

CJ, you could do it like this:

Code: Select all

And then it looks like this:

Indeed Paul!

I posted it for the :newbie:s who are interested in seeing what a good starter tool kit looks like. There are so many kits out there that have more JUNK in them that you will likely NEVER use. This one has lots of useful stuff!

Sure, there is still lots more one could buy, but this one gets you really close to having most of it in one nut!

I think most would agree!

Hi all, I'm Ian and I'm new to the forum, but I'm very rapidly becoming a builder! :D

the kit being sold on ebay is the same kit that they sell at www.planetools.com (Isham). I just ordered my tools from there.... I agonized over what to buy for awhile, and after reading everything on here, I decided that everyone eventually upgrades to the DRDT and the pneumo squeezer. The Isham kit is only $200 or so more than the avery kit, comes with the pneumo and DRDT, and all the little bits are snapon and klein... I figured that had to be the way to go!

I ordered them yesterday, they should be here next week!
