Greetings RV builders from a new poster!
I am getting started on my -9A and trying to sort through the millions of posted opinions on corrosion prevention for the interior surfaces. One paint I never hear mentioned is simple Rustoleum from the hardware store. I've used it over the years on various metal things around the house and found it to be cheap, easy to use, easy to find, and creates a hard finish.
Is there something inherently wrong with Rustoleum that makes it unsuitable for airplanes?
Thanks
John K

Well, to the best of my knowledge it isn't "self-etching". Now what does THAT mean!?!
I am not really sure, but what the bottom line is... other products have a better "bite" than good 'ol Rusto (I think).
The Rusto sure would be a good measure of protection, though!
