While I was away attending OSH

This is what happens when you go away to OSH for a week, and come back to find your RV-8 has a few 8 legged construction projects going on of their own.

Too bad I had to suck em up in the vacuum after they refused to help buck some rivets when I got back.

I have the same problem Dave, but my 8 legged friends are TINY! They build their homes wherever they see fit, and they're persistent little buggers...er...arachnids. :o

When I was building the fuselage for my RV-4 I stored the wings out at my hangar. The open wing ends were wrapped in plastic to keep buggers out.

When I moved my fuselage to the airport and was test fitting my wings, a mud dauber flew past me. Then a few minutes later it flew past again. Then I saw one come out from the lightening hole in the wing rib. Turns out there was a huge gob of mud with all these nice new mud dauber's having their coming out party. Ick!
