We'd just have to make up stuff about our hair-raising flying experiences! You know, hanger talk...

Or we could always talk about all the boats for sale in Wisconsin!
JimPappas wrote:At least for all the teasing we give Chad about his many decision changes - aka weathervane- he made one really good choice a very long time ago and stuck with it very wisely.....

Hi Brit!
You know it! That's one thing I'll never change my mind on! I just told her you said hi, she says hi back.

Hi Cathy!

It's a shame we're so close, and only see you guys at the flyins... :(

I ordered the parts the first week of May I recieved them the first week of August. They've been sitting in the shop ever since (they're safe in original packaging) By the time I get the thing built you'll be able to afford it . Just kidding Chad. Every time I walk into the shop I think to myself "You have got to take a week and put that thing together". Finding time has become a goal of mine. Once I finish the canopy I think I'll take a week.

Pretty soon.

Yup it's my second ECI engine. My spare, not really, I'll be selling this one. So you see you could actually buy it. Or not.

How are you getting ECi kits Jim? I thought they were only sold to dealers or approved builders. Scoop?

How much for the kit?

Oh I'm not that mean. I just don't want to quote a price of a kit and not be correct. Call Jesse at Aero 1-800-326-3044 ext.228 talk to him about it. He can give you the specifics about getting yourself a kit engine.

I dunno, it looks an aweful lot like a Subaru or VW aircooled engine to me :dunno:
Can't be a Sube as it only has 3 main bearings- Sube has 5 on a four banger. No crankpin overlap either so a loooong stroke too. Looks suspiciously like a Textron product or clone.

Chad, just get a 360, you're killing us all here. :)

Flying alone just isn't that much fun all the time.

Kidding, of course!
