I'm Hooked!

Post by Park »

I've been flying for 29 years but flew a Holland RV-6A for the first time the other day ! Now I see what all the "hipe" is about, what a great flying aircraft. I thought I would learn more about the RV's so here I am.
I wonder what that button does?

Welcome to the group! :welcome:

The RV aircraft are great planes and have gotten their following naturally. Feel free to hang out and ask questions. If you decide to build we are always interested in having a new person join the ranks.'

WELCOME.

You have found a wonderful place to learn about the building process. This is the best group of builders around. Friendly, helpful (occasionally mischievous) always entertaining. I have found this to be my first stop to see how a fellow builder solved a problem or to learn opinions on a world of RV topics. You are among friends here!

Make sure you check out some of these guy's build log sites as well. There is a tremendous amount of knowledge and talent in these pages, and they give it all away for free. (Well, almost free...there is always the friendly kidding that you may have to take from time to time)

Grab the beverage of choice and enjoy your time here. :drink:

Park, whatcha gonna build?

I am guessing that you are between the -9A and the -7A because you raved about the -6A. Am I right?

Its hard not to rave about a 6A, but then again, I may be a bit biased. 8)

Welcome Park. You are gonna love building and flying whichever RV model you choose. As Eric said, this is a great place to come for advice and encouragement. Good group of folks.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I will probably not be building a full size RV anytime soon but hopefully will be flying with Mr. Holland from time to time. Aircraft systems have always interested me so I'm sifting through the threads learning about these great planes!
