I know several folks on here are R/C fans. A friend forwarded this link to me and to I think it's over the top - amazing. The filming isn't great, but considering how the model was HAULING - he did darn good to get what he did.

That was AWESOME! I kept waiting to hear the sonic boom. Great video, thanks.

I agree that is pretty frickin sweet...BUT, and I say this with all due respect to Joe for posting it, am I the only one that finds it, umm, a bit boring after a couple of passes?

As an RC enthusiast, I love to see this stuff, but flying a constant horseshoe pattern because it's all one can do to see the thing isn't all that interesting, IMHO...400mph=exhilarating, but can it do anything else???

Gimme a slow stick for some fun flying! 8)

Can't wait to learn what that means too. :? Sounds like something I need to add to my vocabulary, perhaps my pre-teen daughter will think I'm cool again.

I agree about this model being a one trick pony. After that awesome startup and takeoff, I was watching mostly to see how he eventually returned the momentum to zero.

The RC guys that really get my attention are the ones that fly their aircraft appropriately for the scale. Something about an rc cub flying at 60 MPH just doesnt work. Id much rather watch a guy fly a long wing cub in a bit of a breeze who makes it look like a the real thing.

You guys need to watch David Shulman fly. Here is an example:

He does jet aerobatics extraordinarily well.
