I haven't touched the RV in a few months, and have switched materials from aluminum and rivets to wood and glue. There's no RV grin at the end of this project, but I can't imagine how big the grin will be when it's done!
I present to you the "GeeBee Grin"!

I got all of the kits they offer (precut wood, etc.), and the nose of the cowl was already pre-shaped and the ribs (63 of them!) for the cowl were precut, but each one still needed to be tapered to fit together properly.Spike wrote:That is beautiful. I'd say building one solely from the plans would be a grandparents job, the kits are required if you're a mere parent
