he shouldnt need to count again, he can just copy/cut/paste rivet count data from the last go around, and even pad the numbers by adding 10k more rivets installed, and subtract the mistake rivets removed.

Not yet. Sold the Tailwind and have to deliver it this weekend, then I'm in St. Louis for a week. When I get back I'll place the order! 8)

You'll probably be finished with your second RV before I finish my first! :o

Chad, a strange disturbance in the force was felt after the sale of your RV7 so soon after it's completion. Maybe when you purchase your new kit you can restore a sense of order and balance to the world again. :) But seriously, I enjoy your RV7 build log and look forward to a new installment.

This is what everyone is REALLY looking forward to! Not the fact that I'm gonna build another one, but to watch me weathervane on decisions!

Didn't say that! I'm going to quietly build a Cuby for TW flying. Probably won't build the TW 9...

Oh, boy, I did ton's o research on this one. My recommendation is a O-320 (from Ameritech) with sensenich's ground adjustable prop. Saves the weight / cost / maint of the constant speed yet gives you the ability to tailor the pitch to what you need.

Wow, memories. I talked with my buyer yesterday and he is hanging the engine and fitting the canopy on my old project. He thinks it will fly end of this year or early next. You 9 guys are soo cool.

Chad...If you.re going ahead with the RV9...what about having a look at the ULPower latest release .engine...6cylinder....160...180...or 200 hp engine....light weight .(108kgs)..air cooled ..fadec etc..would produce a very brisk light weight a/c....love to do this with a 3 or 4.....rgds to all ...stanman

somedays, I think a -9A would be ideal. Jenny, my daughter is starting lessons....in a traumahawk. Kris is thinking about it also.

My -7 is not a trainer.

Plans. The problem with them is they are always subject to change. We've been on vacation this week and we've gained some clarity on what we want in an airplane.

Like I said...we're on vacation, so more later!

No cheating CJ!! :sneaky:
