RV Owners & Builders located near Glendale, CA

Post by RudysRV7 »

My wife & I are moving to Glendale, CA. I am the proud owner of a RV-7 (in the build phase) The tail & wings are complete. I have not purchased the fuselage yet.

We will be living in an apartment, since real estate is so expensive. I am going to be interested in find a shop, hanger, garage to build the fuselage.
Plus I want to get connected with RV builders in the area.

Anyone in or around Glendale, CA?

I am NOWHERE NEAR YOU and have nothing to loan you but PROMISE that when I am done with my plane, I will take you for a ride!

I plan on heading your way when this whole build is behind me!

I seem to recall a hangar for sale at Van Nuys on eBay.

Keep us posted on your project and welcome to RB!

Captain John

Thanks for the information. I am not really in need of any loans (except maybe some fuel money), HAHA.

Good Luck on your project.

Hanger or end room

Post by flywulf »

Have a look at the whiteman airport that is just a short drive north of the Burbank airport. New hangers were recently built or they might have an end room available, which would be all you would need to build a fuselage.

cheers,

Ed
