Welcome to the club, Ossie

Chad, that looks cool. I might have to build one of those. Are they on the hard side to fly, or easier side. My neighbor has some planes that are rockets, and I think I would crash them in about 4 seconds.

Hehe...I bought it because it's an RV, not because of how it flies...;o) A friend of mine will do most of the flying for me until I get better at this...

Dude, its an ARF. Why oh why are all the new planes ARFs? Doesn't anyone actually build their own anymore? *sigh*

Uuuuhhh...yeah, I just spent the better part of two and a half years building that C195!! :bang: That's enough for me. While building the 195, I maintained that I didn't want to build an ARF...now that the 195 is done, I can honestly say that I will probably never build another kit again...unfortunately.

I feel what you're sayin, but now that I've sampled the joy and relatively quick motivational moments with an ARF, my thoughts have turned... 8)

building the plane actually has sentimental meaning for me. I remember as a kid spending time with my dad building RC's and Guillow models. I'd crash them and then we would rebuild them :)

Hurry up and learn to fly that thing.

Like I said, I do *feel* what you're saying...that's why I chose to build the 195. I have similar memories from childhood too, and the sentiment is still there. It's probably just me...there's really no reason a kit should take that long, but I have too many distractions, so if I'm gonna stick with this secondary hobby...ARF's are my future. :)

I'm with ya Chad. I love to build, but time is a premium these days, and the RV has taken priority for the last several years. I don't think I will tackle another kit until I am old and bald -- both of which are fast approaching. Until then I will continue to liquidate my RC fleet and transfer the money over to the RV. Anyone want one of these:
