There is a fly in at a local grass strip this sunday - anyone who can should try and come by (Chad, see if you can scare up your buddy with the -7! Would be a nice flight).
I'm told this is one of the nicest grass strips around - Stu says it's like a putting green. Would love to see some of you guys there - I'll be taking the 170 over. Details below:

The Wilson Family invites all our friends back for more fun!!!

Thomas,

Thanks for the info. Depending on the weather, it looks like I should depart for Indy either Friday or Saturday and need to be back in OSH sunday by 6pm. I'll give a ring when I get down there.

Thanks again

Hey Thomas thanks for the heads up! That's the perfect distance for a flyin but we're both comitted for the weekend... :(

I'll be up in Canada fishing (I'm really going for the ride in the Beech 19 on floats) and beth will be with her Mom and Dad.

Hope to make it next time!

Thomas,

I got an email back from Jack, and we are going to try an organize a group fly-out from here. Jack is iffy 'cuz they are spraying for beetles right now, but they are slowing down. If it works out, we should have three or four airplanes coming over to include an RV-7, GP-4, a Mooney M20J, and maybe a Seawind. 8)

Yeah it's a big, loud, freaky bird that's for sure. I'll get some pics from the right seat!

The outfitter knows I fly so he let me sit up front last year. All the "reglular folk" (my goofball fishing buddies) were in the rear with the gear right where they belong!!! HA!

Talk to ya next week!

Hey Thomas (and anyone else going), it looks like I've got several airplanes lined up to come over tomorrow to The Last Resort. Right now it's Jack's -7, a Mooney, a Comanche, maybe a GP-4, and maybe a Warrior. I'll either be in the yellow and white -7 or the red Mooney, depends on a buddy of Jack's going or not.

Lookin' forward to it! See ya there!

I had an alternator failure in the Archer yesterday on my way into Greenwood Muni. Hopefully, I'll have it fixed today and be able to head over to Last Resort tomorrow.

Tshort, my cuzin and I are taking the kids somewhere for swimming and stuff later so it doesn't look like I'll be able to come over :(

Hope to see ya all tomorrow though.

We're gonna leave BMI at noon, so we'll be over there at 2 eastern (1 hour flight).
