How many hours are you guys flying a year?

I have 120 so far in 2006 - definitely my "busiest" flying year so far. I don't see how some of these guys fly so much - like Checkoway, etc. I don't know how they find the time ... ?

This year to date I have about 70 hours. If my plane was done, I sure it would top 150!

Of course, I DO have a part time job!

I've averaged 105 a year since I got my license. Of course, now most of that is company flying, and my flying expenses are no where near what they were three years ago when I was paying for nearly all of it. I expect that I'll fly somewhere around 75-80 hours a year when the RV is finished.

I am embarrased to say, ZERO. :(

Oh wait, can I count my sightseeing flight around Kauai in a Maule... if so, then 1 hour! I feel MUCH better now.

I have flown about 155hrs a year the last two years but that may be about to change. We might be flying something different or "more appropriate" during our build. ...hate to give up the Aero II but you know how it goes!

...more to come soon! I Hope! :D

I went from about 170 in '05 to 70 this year. Bummer.

Can't wait to finish the plane. I will definitely be over 200/year.

I've logged about 98 hours this year in my RV-4 and about couple of hours in a Grumman Tiger, and a 1/2 hour in an Eronca (spelling?) Chief.

I know once I have my 8 done and flying it will be a bit more like 150 a year.

This year I did manage to fly the 4 to OSH, and that was a great trip.
Landing at OSH for the first time was really rewarding.

Ok, now it's time to get back to building

My 120 hours is more like 360 when you count all the hangar flying and beer drinking that goes on at the airport.

I know if I spent as much time building as I do surfing (the internet) and reading I would be WAY farther along now!!

Finally remembered look at my log book. I hadn't flown in about 10 years until late last year, then decided I was going to get current again and get an instrument rating. I got the rating back in June and have done about 50 hours in about the last 12 months. I'm really looking forward to having my own plane in ... well, when it's done. Renting is a drag when you have to book a few weeks in advance and then you get weathered out at least half the time.

maybe 3 hours of training this year. Not the greatest, but better than nothing I guess

Flown about 93 hours in the last 12 months. One hour in a 172 and the rest is all RV time!

I actually have my logbook with me today since I will be flying later tonight (need to do my three night landings).

This year I have logged 43 hours so far. The longest flight being OSH to HFY at 2.6 hours (headwind)
