I hadn't built a model in over a year. and since I flew my favorite plane into a shed this spring I finally decided a replacement was in order. Call it an early Christmas gift to me from me

What's it going to be, gas or electric? Looks cool I've been thinking of doing the same.

'lectric power. No mess to clean up after a flight.
Well, no fuel mess. There's always the time spent picking up the pieces of the recently deceased
should be about 17 oz with bats in ready to fly

One thing I do need is a covering scheme for this plane.
I know it's not an RV, but maybe an RV theme would be appropriate.
If you have any cool RV paint jobs I could copy post a picture.

Here's where the build is at now.

You could copy my friend Melissa's Edge color pattern
http://www.sportsgal.com/aerobatic.html I can't figure out how to hotlink a single pic from her site without copying & rehosting

Right click on the image, select "Copy Image Location", and come here. In the message, click on the img button, right click and paste the location, click on the img button again...

Thanks Chad, I should've known to right click, then properties to get the address, but I was brain locking this morning

The address doesn't come up when you just open the pictures

wow, that would look sweet.
But there is no way I have the coverning talent to pull that one off.
Think 3 color with a couple of angles or sweeps tops.

I've been slowly plugging away on both builds. The Model is seeing quicker results
I've smoked the canopy:
and I've started the covering job. The rudder was the first victim. thankfully, compared to the checkerboard of the rudder the rest of the plane should be fairly easy.

Here's the latest on the EVA. I just have to set the throws and I'll be ready for flight.

I worked on the F-14 Tomcat for about 10+ years. Here is my favorite video of a remote control Tomcat.

Is there a version of the movie without the top gun music? I'd like to hear the engines. Now THAT'S music!
