Santa was very good to me.

It seems Santa called Clear Air tools and ordered up a nice 3x rivet gun for me :)

Needless to say I was floored.

anyone else get any aviation/ building related goodies?

I got a new wallet. And everyone knows that a wallet is the FIRST tool you need to build. :)

Mrs. Santa gave me 2 Orndorff videos, a tank dimple die set, a Vans calendar and a bunch of clecos! What a woman! Now it's off to the shop to make Aluminum shavings!

Merry Christmas to all!

Not exactlly aviation relate but I got a nice JVC hard disk camcorder. I do plan on buying a bullet cam to mount up in the tail for some of those really cool flying videos.

I got another good 3 days with my extended family.

As for gifts, Patti got me this. Definately one of the best gifts ever. There was a blurb about this book in last month's EAA magazine announcing its release. I fell in love with it instantly. I have always been amazed by the ability of the US infrastructure during WWII. Patti was able to track it down and get me a copy before it even hit the bookshelves. Its a great read!!

My MOTHER-IN LAW of all people came through with the nice gift certificate from Van's!!! She said she had heard that I had been ordering a few "replacement parts" and thought this would help!

I am NOT taking that the wrong way!

Peter, now THAT is the best gift yet!

I wish people would get away from the idea that they HAVE to buy something for you, otherwise there was no thought put into the gift!

Let's face it. With this hobby, no one would EVER think of the right gift. That is, unless you are a builder!

I asked for a Vans GC and didn't get one!

One size fits all and the color is always right!
