Well I got my tail kit several weeks ago, inventoried everything got ready to start and found a deep scratch in the rear spar.

Van's was terriffic and immediately sent me a replacement but it took a week so my wife convinced me to build her the kitchen cabinet that I kept putting off.
In between i fell water skiing and tore my hamstring, very very painful.

Now the cabinet is almost done,
i have the replacement spar, next week is MY week!!

If that cabinet reflects your abilities, then your gonna' have one purdy airplane.

I wouldn't mind a cabinet like that for my shop!

Nice cabinet, wasn't a very bad scratch though.

Heh, nice woodworking (my shop started with mostly woodworking tools). I can't agree more with the above, do work like that on your plane, and wow!
