Today I built...

Post by captain_john »

NOTHING! It was a GREAT Saturday! I woke up late (06:00 EST) and went to the health club. I did cardio, chest and tri's, came home and showered. I brought my dog to the groomers while I went FLYING! I got my day/night currency in a high performance plane and afterward, went out to dinner (had a few ales) all the while, talking about planes with my buddy Captain George!

Whatta fine, non productive day!

What did YOU do?

Spike, did you get that HS part done? Any progress there?

Snap, that cat still have a lime carcass helmet?

Nope, I did zero work today on the plane. It was a beautiful blue day today and it got up into the forties. Since the Cessna is still in the shop I decided to go motorcycle riding. :D I ended up stopping by church to do some prep work for the holiday season and just had a nice brisk ride home (down into the upper 20's / low 30's. Actually I just walked in the door. Tomorrow after church I get to help a friend with his canopy for his 8 and then I hope to get some work done on mine. Good day in all.

Let's see -- On Saturday, I got up early and did some event photography at a semi-local motorcycle dealership openhouse. On Sunday I got up early and headed down to the local dragstrip to do some more shooting.

Today? Back to the real job. :(

That would be quite an expensive date, and a loooong trip. :lmao:

By day I do Common Criteria testing for a huge company -- but by evening and weekend, I own my own photography business. I specialize in what I like to call "vanity photography". A lot of boys have expensive toys, and big egos to go with them. I do burnout and launch photos at the local dragstrip, and am trying to branch out by doing personal photo sessions for motorcycles, airplanes, boats, etc. I sell the image files, posters, prints ... blah blah blah.
